| Details | SEND in Further Education requires more than identifying individual learner needs; it relies on organisations having the capability, confidence and inclusive practices needed to respond effectively. The GMLPN SEND Exchange provides a collaborative space for providers across Greater Manchester to explore current priorities, share effective practice and discuss the challenges affecting learners with SEND. The exchange supports professional dialogue around inclusive teaching and learning, early identification of need, reasonable adjustments, learner participation and the systems that enable staff to respond confidently and consistently. It also provides an opportunity to consider SEND within the wider learner experience, including transitions, belonging, progression and the importance of creating environments where learners can participate and succeed. Engagement in specialist exchanges such as this supports continued professional learning while helping ensure that Creating Excellence's consultancy and professional development remain connected to current practice, provider experience and emerging priorities across the sector. |
