| Details | Making Learner Progress Visible Effective quality assurance goes beyond checking whether activities have taken place or processes have been followed. It helps providers understand what learners are learning, how they are progressing and whether interventions are making a difference. This practical workshop examines the fundamentals of quality assurance across the learner journey. It considers starting points, assessment, feedback, progress reviews, learner support and progression. Strengthening Quality Assurance and Assessment Readiness Participants explore how to triangulate evidence from learner work, assessment, reviews and feedback. They also consider how professional curiosity helps identify inconsistencies, challenge assumptions and highlight areas requiring further investigation. The workshop examines how providers can assure the effectiveness of reasonable adjustments, individual support and interventions. Particular attention focuses on whether agreed approaches translate into meaningful improvements in learner experience and progress. Assessment readiness forms another central theme. Rather than treating readiness as a final check, the workshop considers how providers can develop and evaluate it throughout learning. From Evidence to Improvement Interactive activities encourage participants to examine their own quality systems and identify opportunities for improvement. A practical Quality Assurance and Learner Progress Pressure Test supports reflection on organisational visibility, evidence, triangulation and areas requiring further action. The workshop connects quality activity with meaningful organisational insight, shared ownership and continuous improvement. |
