| Details | The first weeks of an apprenticeship establish expectations, relationships and routines that influence the entire learner journey. This webinar examines how providers can move beyond information-heavy induction programmes to create structured onboarding experiences that actively support participation, inclusion and long-term success. Drawing on current inspection expectations and sector priorities, the session explores practical approaches to identifying learner needs early, embedding safeguarding and careers education in meaningful ways, and introducing Maths, English and Digital Skills as capabilities that support workplace success rather than compliance requirements. Delegates will consider how psychological safety, learner voice and inclusive practice can be embedded from the outset to strengthen confidence, belonging and progression. Interactive activities, practical tools and structured reflection will help participants identify improvements that can be implemented immediately within their own apprenticeship programmes. The webinar is designed to help organisations create induction experiences that support learners from the very beginning while strengthening retention, organisational capability and inspection readiness. |
