Details Apprenticeship quality is increasingly being tested through how well curriculum, IQA and delivery align in practice, not just how they are designed on paper. Providers are currently navigating significant changes driven by reforms to delivery models, assessment expectations and Ofsted’s strengthened focus on inclusion, learner experience and curriculum coherence. While many organisations feel broadly secure, these expectations are now being tested through sampling, data scrutiny and learner voice — often exposing gaps between intent and lived experience. This webinar explores where those pressure points are most likely to emerge and what they reveal about organisational capability. We will focus on: Curriculum design and sequencing IQA processes as drivers of improvement Day-to-day delivery and learner experience Early indicators of risk in learner progress and EPA readiness The session moves beyond compliance to explore how quality can be strengthened with confidence, ensuring that curriculum, assessment and delivery work together to support consistent, high-quality learner experiences. By connecting strategic intent with day-to-day practice, the webinar supports leaders and practitioners to identify gaps, strengthen alignment and improve consistency across apprenticeship provision. This reflects wider themes explored in my article on AI readiness in apprenticeships, where organisational capability is positioned as the foundation for effective practice. This work aligns with wider sector priorities highlighted by the Association of Employment and Learning Providers. It is particularly relevant as providers respond to changes in apprenticeship funding, assessment models and expectations around inclusion and learner experience. Creating space to review curriculum, IQA and delivery together helps organisations move from compliance to confident, consistent practice. Strengthening apprenticeship quality requires alignment between curriculum, IQA and day-to-day delivery.
