| Details | I will be attending the full day of the ATC Annual Conference and delivering an afternoon workshop alongside Learn Box. Workshop (14:40–15:40): Learners Who Belong, Achieve and Thrive: Inclusive Practice in a Digital Age Inclusion and belonging sit at the heart of inspection, and learners must feel they can succeed wherever learning happens. While digital and blended delivery offer flexibility, they can also create barriers for learners who lack confidence, support or digital skills. This workshop explores how providers can design digital learning that is safe, accessible and genuinely supportive. Using practical examples from LearnBox and Creating Excellence, we will examine inclusive design principles, simple accessibility adjustments, and strategies to build learner confidence and participation. We will also explore how to create psychologically safe digital spaces where learners feel protected, respected and able to contribute — an essential part of digital safeguarding, wellbeing and quality practice. Participants will leave with realistic, actionable ideas they can apply immediately, including how to identify barriers, adapt content for different needs, and track learner voice and experience — ensuring digital learning works for everyone, not just the confident few. |
